OK I admit, I have a problem. I am a computer geek. There I said it. Yes I have more than the average number of computers in my house. I will list them all and what they do, so that y'all can see that they are necessary.

1. My computer. I use it for surfing porn and stalking women bloggers... ;) (Right Madame?)

2. My daughters computer. I use it to keep her from finding any of my bad habits...

3. Domain controller. Used for playing with logon scripts and such that I can't do at work.

4. Firewall. To keep all the evils of the world away!!! :)

5. Sun Ultra 10 running Solaris 9. Using it as a web server and email server.

6. Red Hat Linux workstation. It is set up for the SETI program, because I know we aren't alone!!

7. Mandrake Linux workstation. I use it for playing with PERL scripts to mess up my firewall with.

8. Older Mandrake Linux workstation. I use it to play with SAMBA.


So that is what all my computers are for. Yes it keeps the room warm, but I "need" them!!
